Plumbing, uff da.

The first of the plumbers making a bid on our new basement bathroom was here. Oh wow. Oh I wish I remembered my password to voice post so you can hear the vowel on that wow, because--wow, oh geez. We got into sort of a Minnesotan feedback loop where our accents spiraled ever northward. I'm glad he left to write up the estimate when he did, because we had gotten about as far north as Churchill and I have no idea whether they repeat "oh yah?" and "you bet" to each other endlessly in Resolute. But we were. Uff da.

Also when I finished a short story yesterday, another story said, "Me next, please," so that's a very fine thing.

And helps a bit with some of the less fine things. So.
