It was snowing when timprov and I left Perkins this morning. Snowing! None of it was sticking, but it's the thought that counts, right? I am delighted. I love the first snowflakes of fall.

I dreamed that when one of my teeth came out, they took the memory module with it, so I forgot all sorts of things like, "do not let strangers kidnap you and take you to Las Vegas; you don't like noisy deserts." I don't think they're actually going to remove any of my wisdom today with the wisdom teeth. Well -- not permanently, at least. Anyway, I'm not looking forward to it, and I wish it was just done already, but at least there is soup. And my stick blender is the best thing ever. The "turbo" setting sucks onions into the vortex at an alarming rate. Very pleasing. I like having a turbo setting at my disposal. I find it calming.

My oral surgeon doesn't know many people.

He said, "You're one of the bravest people I've ever met." For getting my wisdom teeth pulled with only local anaesthetic. So I told him he needed to get out more. (Seriously. That bordered on offensive to me.)

Anyway, teeth out smoothly, trying to type while holding ice on my face, Vicodin kicking in, e-mails welcome.
