Getting by, the specifics

If timprov does not feel any worse than he does at this moment, porphyrin and I will take him to the hospital tomorrow morning. (Any worse than he feels right now and we are crating the dog and hitting the ER as fast as we can get him there. But it'll be easier for several reasons I'm not willing to go into here if we can go tomorrow morning with porphyrin.)

C.J. will spend a big chunk of the day with missista so that she doesn't have to be in the crate all day and I don't have to be running back and forth. Then my dad will come at the end of his work day and take Ista to spend a week with Mormor and Morfar. They enjoy each other's company, I don't have to drive myself nuts taking care of myself, timprov, and the dog without markgritter's help, and I don't have to ask as many people for favors as I otherwise might. (I know you're willing. But they really want to spend the week with her, and it's a lot easier this way.)

We will see what they say at the hospital and go from there. I'm behind on e-mail already and probably won't be catching up very consistently over the next few days, but that doesn't mean I don't like hearing from people. I appreciate it very much. We've just got a lot of stuff to handle right now.

...or something else then.

My dad won't be going back to Omaha Wednesday night, so I have to figure out whether I'm sending Ista with him on Thursday afternoon when he goes, and if so what to do with her Thursday, and if not what to do with her Thursday and Friday.

A couple of people have said they will help, and I promise I will ask if you are one of them and it turns out to be a good idea. I'm just thinking. Things aren't as tidy as they looked a few hours ago.

But I have walked the wee beast, and that counts for something -- for a calmer wee beast, among other things.
